It wasn't all that it was cracked up to be I think. I mean, it was good for a movie, but basing it off of final fantasy, that was not right. No offense, but NOBODY should be making movies about video games. Just take a look at Resident evil. Good movie, bad re-inaction. You know....?

Yes, I do see your point. Anderson really did sway WAY far off from the Resident Evil games' Storyline.
I personally think that the only people that should really be making video game movies that are actually based off of the games would be the game companies themselves. Just look at how Advent Children turned out. It didn't sway from the Final Fantasy VII storyline whatsoever and we have Square to thank for that
And The Spirits Within didn't really have anything to do with the Final Fantasy games. People shouldn't really tag movies with the names of games unless they're certain the fans are going to enjoy it and actually have it based on the games, unlike how The Spirits Within was.
